First time opening Smart TIO
Go step by step throughout Smart TIO guide process and choose to run national or regional analysis. As long as you choose the type of analysis you want to perform you will enter in the calculations display.
Impact demand calculations
The impact demand analysis provides estimations on direct economics effects from changes in final demand and indirect effects caused by ... the changes in the production of the suppliers of interrelated sectors.At the calculation screen, you can type value manually or import values and change the demand component that you are interested in,such as households or government consumption, gross capital formation, exports and etc.
Hypothetical extraction calculations
Hypothetical extraction analysis estimates the importance of a particular sector in the economy and quantifies how much the total output, taxes or employment would change (decrease), if this sector would disappear in the economy. In menu bar you can select a sector for estimation and results will be shown automatically.
Export results
Results of your own estimations can be visualised and downloaded. The results can be provided by totals or by sectors. You can also generate and download a PDF report with the description of estimations and interpretations of your results.
